Mechanic

• Heavy Equipment/Diesel truck mechanic with own tools. Mechanic must have Computer/Scanner experience, electrical and hydraulic experience for large fleet of construction equipment rentals.
• Must be able to pass TSA/FAA background checks to work at our airport locations.
• 3 years experience preferred.
• Mechanic must have clean license for mobile road calls. Will also work at our shops in Freeport and West Babylon, New York. Service vehicle supplied.
• Snow events provide an excellent opportunity to earn over-time as we are partnered with a snow removal company that provides services to the regional airports.

SNOW OPERATORS

Snowlift® is currently seeking individuals to work during snow storms at JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Newark Airport, and Logan Airport. The individual will push/pile and melt snow at the airports. We are seeking drivers and heavy equipment operators for the following vehicles / equipment:

• Front-end loaders
• Pick-up trucks with snow-plow attachments
• Dump trucks
• Bobcats / Skid-steers
• Compact loaders

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass TSA/FAA security background check. CDL license a plus but NOT required. For Logan Airport - Hoisting License is a plus. No Experience Necessary.

This is a PART-TIME/SEASONAL position based on snow events.

Weekly paychecks for storms worked. Food provided during storms. Opportunity for overtime.
